We’re thrilled to welcome LaRhonda Steele and her band to kick off this incredible night of soul! Known as the “First Lady of Portland Blues,” this Oregon Music Hall of Fame artist brings blues, gospel and soul straight from the heart to the Columbia stage.
Growing up in Oklahoma, LaRhonda harmonized with her sister while they did their chores. Music was part of everyday life, bringing family together and helping her connect with the people around her. That spirit of connection is still at the heart of what she shares onstage.
